As a result of research we have found that logical thinking in children of preschool age in the first phase of the experiment was weak. The children found it difficult to summarize and analysis, it was difficult to group the objects and build a logical chain. Therefore there is a need to develop a series of training sessions solving arithmetic problems contributing to the development of logical thinking.
